Welcome to Watermelon Park Campground! We invite you, your family and friends, to come
visit us and our beautiful 26 acres of heaven! Watermelon Park is tucked into the foothills of the
splendorous Blue Ridge Mountains and nestled along the state scenic Shenandoah River.
While here, you and your family, can rediscover one another by sitting around the campfire,
roasting s'mores, or even playing a game of volleyball.

Friday arrival = $30/person = Weekend Pass  (Friday thru Sunday at 7 p.m.)  
Saturday arrival= $20/person = 2 day Pass  (Saturday thru Sunday at 7 p.m.)
Sunday arrival = $10/person = (Sunday thru Monday at 1 p.m.)

Primitive Camping is just $10/person per night! (No electric/water hook-up)
Primitive camping... Otherwise known as "roughing it!" gives you that sense of being in the wilderness yet the  
comfort of knowing that you are close to civilization. Here at Watermelon Park you have the freedom to choose     
from camping right along the river, in the shade or under the open sky!

RV Camp sites (with Water & Electric hook-up) are just $15/site per night +  $10/person per
night.
We have 98 sites to choose from! All sites are equipped with at least 30 amp service, clean & cold running water   
and a picnic table.
We have a Dump Station on site!

Our hours of operation are from 7:00 am - 11:00 pm.
(No one will be admitted after 11:00 pm.) Check out time is 7:00 pm. on Sunday.    

We are open 7 days a week from April 1st. - November 1st.
