Canoe and Kayak trips on the Shenandoah
river!

Trip #1  Low water Bridge  $75/Boat + $20 Shuttle Fee per boat.
    This is a 2 day trip down the Shenandoah!
Pack your camp gear, fishing pole and your cooler! This overnight trip is for the
adventurer in you! An approximate 21 mile trip down the lazy and State
Scenic Shenandoah river.
Day 1 is an approximate 9 mile float. This gives you time to set up camp on the
island, make dinner and relax by the campfire to enjoy mother nature.
Day 2 is a 12 mile scenic float back to Watermelon Park. Keep your eyes peeled
for the Eagles, Osprey and Blue heron along this section.
This trip also includes multiple Class I & II rapids. (easily manageable)

Trip #2   Route 50 Bridge  $40/Boat + $15 Shuttle Fee per boat.  
Approximate float time of  5-7 hours.
This is a 12 mile float meandering along a secluded section of the Shenandoah
river and includes several Class I & II sections. It makes for an ideal day trip!
You will more than likely see a Bald Eagle, Osprey, Blue Heron or even a King
Fisher while on this stretch of the river!



Trip #3  Midway                    $30/Boat + $10 Shuttle Fee/boat.
Approximate float time of 3-6 hours.
This trip covers about 5 miles of a very secluded                                           
section of the Shenandoah and contains a Class I & II area that are always fun
to maneuver. A fun way to escape for few hours on the beautiful Shenandoah
river!


Trips #1,#2 & #3 are by reservation only.
All rentals are to be returned by 4:00 pm. !
(Your cooperation is what keeps rates so low!)
Guide Service is available Mon. thru Thurs. only!
Guide service fees are as follows; Trip #1 $100 Trip #2 $50 Trip #3 $25

Trip #4  Lockes Landing   $25/Boat
So you don't have hours to spend but you still want and need to get on the
river! This trip allows you to get your quick fix. Paddle up stream or just take
your time floating back to the park for just $25 + Tip for your shuttle driver!
The last shuttle for this trip leaves daily at 2:30 pm.




All participants must sign a Liability Waiver, be over the age of 18
unless accompanied by an adult and have a major credit card)

All rentals include:
Paddles, Personal Flotation Devices (PFD) and River maps.

A Replacement Fee of $100 for any lost equipment will be
immediately charged to your credit card!

All Virginia State Taxes will also be collected.

For your safety! Watermelon Park does not rent any
equipment in the event of inclement weather!

Shenandoah River Tube Rentals...    
Tube Rentals are still just $10 + tax (3 hour time limit)
Our float trip usually has a run-time of 2 hours depending on the mood
of the lazy Shenandoah river!                 Safe for all ages!

Tube Rental Hours:  Monday - Thursday       10am - 4pm
                              Friday - Sat.                   10am - 5pm  
                              Sunday                           10am - 3pm

Our Shuttle bus leaves when you are ready to go!
(Please tip your shuttle drivers!)

Floating Coolers are also available for just
$10 + tax.
